Comics by GUS –Global Universal Symphony launched the “Inspector Klebs” out into the space at Lucca event: the popular character Dirick and his author are testimonials of the Global Universal Symphony for the construction of a “global village” of arts and science.
Since next 30th October, at Lucca Comics and Games event, you can meet the “Inspector Klebs”
in some unusual space clothes. The popular character, created by the imagination of Jean Pierre Dirick, will be testimonial of the Global Universal Symphony (GUS) project, a musical art event conceived by the businessman Claudio Melotto, with the music arrangement by Maestro Mauro Paoluzzi, melting two most popular songs broadcast into space: the New World Symphony by Dvorak, which accompanied the Apollo 11 Mission to the Moon in 1969, and Across the Universe by The Beatles, broadcast to the Pole Star last 4th February to celebrate the NASA’s 50th anniversary.
On the occasion of the main Italian comic-strips event, the “Inspector Klebs” and his author shall take part in the international notable project presentation together with the sponsor, the actress and anchorwoman Iuliana Ierugan. This is the first Italian stage of the promotional tour after the presentation of the Global Universal Symphony that took place in New York last 10th October, in the framework of the Columbus Day celebrations, when the GUS awards and the International Awards Art, Science and Awareness, addressed to the all-stars standing out in arts, science and intercultural dialogue.
The GUS patron, Claudio Melotto, President of the Arcimboldo Global Communications, has strengthened far back a fellowship with the French cartoonist Jean Pierre Dirick who gave up the rights on his publications for this project, as well as the translation and diffusion of the “Inspector Klebs” stories in different Eastern Europe languages. The aim is to build training centres for animation and cinematography supposed to enhance the formative choice of the forthcoming Prague global village addressed to research and education of young talented people in arts and science. Here we have the very purpose why Claudio Melotto has conceived and promoted the GUS project.
The stories of the “Inspector Klebs” tell about an upside down world where the humans live in the place of animals “on the other side of the leash”. In such odd universe, the animals founded the Society Protecting Humans to defend mankind and stop the humans extinction. These adventures star is a dog, the “Inspector Klebs” assisted by his vice, a beginner-inspector, a cat called in Ran D’Agio. Even if the comics texts are full of witty remarks, however today’s pressing problems of great topical interest are dealt with, mainly about nature and animals protection. Dirick and his upside down world will open our eyes on our behaviour towards the animals subject to any kind of testing and abuse.
The GUS publishing projects will be presented to the press on Friday 31st October at 12pm in the Noblesse Hotel, Via Santa Croce, Lucca.
Claudio Melotto and the GUS staff are pleased to announce that Jean Pierre Dirick shall meet the young readers of the Inspector Klebs at Lucca Comics event on Saturday 1st November at 10am in the Junior Room, Meetings Area (J10), of the Lucca Junior Hall (Cortile degli Svizzeri). Same Saturday at 5.30pm meeting with the audience in the Meeting Room of the Chamber of Commerce in Lucca (free entrance). The actress and anchorwoman Iuliana Ierugan will take part in the events.

Dogs usually respond to who is caring for them. To a dog, the one who walks them, feeds them and plays with them, must be the master. If you have relagated this to your Mom, your dogs allegiance is to her. In order to win your dogs heart back, you must put in QUALITY TIME. Try taking your dog for nice long walks, no yelling at it, no being mean to your dog or he will become even more attached to your Mum.
